Abstract : Problem-centered research and its goals in how to develop a contemporary ceramic murals and activating its role in aesthetic and civilized social life in Saudi Arabia through the use of heritage and variables Saudi intellectual and artistic world that have worked to form a ceramic mural in the field of contemporary ceramics. The research is divided into six chapters, which included the first chapter on the research problem and methodology, Chapter II reviewed the history of the wall through the ages through the historical study of a selection of ceramic murals in different artistic eras and evolution and its relation to philosophy and thought of every age and social needs, as well as a historical study of traditional ceramic murals in Saudi Arabia. The third chapter the foundations, concepts and methods on which the Fine Arts ceramic murals in the modern era and the impact on the development of technical schools, as well as an explanation of the most important features, functions and form a wall of modern techniques and methods of decoration. The researcher in the fourth quarter an analytical study of the content of selected models of contemporary ceramic murals and the Arab world and locally, from the beginning of the second half of the twentieth century until the time of the search, as well as the classification of some of the methods and trends of intellectual, artistic, and technical ceramic murals for use in ceramic wall update the status of Saudi Arabia. The researcher allocated by Chapter V of the application, which included practical applications of self-production models for contemporary ceramic murals based elements and vocabulary of Fine artistic and cultural heritage of the Saudi Arabian, and modern methods of how to address the wall surface in terms of color, texture and synthesis. As well as the possibility of supply (internal _ Foreign Affairs), and compatibility with light sources (natural, industrial _). Have been measured results of the study applied in the light of goals to be achieved through a form presented to the experts to monitor and track those results. The researcher concluded the study in chapter one sixth draw of the main results, which focused on the evolution of the concept of ceramic wall and its role in the process of mass communication, especially in the modern era where huge advances in media technology and techniques developed that allowed the artists to express the way the culture of society and the transfer of national heritage and the possibility of interaction with the human civilizations World , and considering the artistic heritage of Saudi important tributary streams of culture and knowledge of adult artists to express their ceramic murals bear the characteristics of PAM. The study recommended the need to take advantage of technologies developed in the construction of ceramic murals in the teaching of contemporary ceramic arts for students and practitioners of art and finally chapter contains a summary of research and supplements, and a list of references in both Arabic and English language.
