Abstract : This study aims at demonstrating the effect of using a proposed instructional computer program on developing Achievement and Skilled Performance in the Fine Arts Curriculum for First Intermediate Grade students in Jeddah, in comparison to the traditional method. It uses the quasi-experimental approach in order to study the effect of the independent variable (The proposed instructional computer program) on the two dependent variables (Achievement) and (Skilled Performance) on the study sample which consists of (70) students. Students are divided into two groups: the experimental group, and the control group. The researcher has used the (T-Test) in addition to the Alpha Cronbach correlation coefficient to reach the following results: 1. Statistically significant differences were found in the average grades between the experimental group and the control group in the post-application of the achievement test in favor of the experimental group. 2. Statistically significant differences were found in the average grades between the experimental group and the control group in the post-application of the skilled performance scorecard in favor of the experimental group. One of the more important recommendations of this study is the necessity to teach computer at the intermediate level as it is a transitional stage from childhood to maturity. Moreover, the study recommends the integration of fine arts education through computers with students' experience in order to produce pieces of work that embody students' manual practical experience using computer technology in addition to providing a future staff capable of producing new instructional software, and able to introduce students to standards of design and stimulate their interest in the field.
