Culture - generally- has its significance in human life. However, art cultures with their various aspects and different sources may form a global language playing an important role in communication process besides reacting with and through such process in order to convey meaningful messages to society. So, female students of Department of Art Education must be prepared comprehensively to obtain the basic communication skills needed to speak, write, and express using plastic symbols about the different dimensions of art culture successfully and effectively so as to achieve different human, civilized, and cultural aims expressed by art.
The researcher seeks in this study to identify the effectiveness of a program which clarifies the possibility of applying skills of positive communications with art culture through “Modern Trends of Photography” course whose code is Draw (4212) using certain verbal communication skills in speaking and writing as well as non-verbal skills in expressing with plastic symbols. To get such aim, the study adopted one of art theories including elements that contribute developing positive communication with other art cultures skills. This theory mixes roles of artists, specialists, critics, historians, and art appreciators (beauty world) to improve and promote art production as well as learners’ characters. So, Discipline-Based Art Education (DBAE) concentrated on such four dimensions; art history, art appreciation, art criticism, and art production. |
