Abstract : This study aims at identifying the most common problems found among female students in the secondary education stage and the role of the social worker in eliminating them. It has been conducted the field study in the second semester, 1428/1429H. This study depended on the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data from 300 students and 10 social workers. The researcher has concluded that the student in the secondary education stage faces a lot problems whether at the level of the family such as family disputes, lack of income or at the level of the school such as absence and neglecting doing home assignments or at the personal level such as staying up late or boasting in front of her classmates. According to this study, this type of problems affects the academic achievement of the student in one hand and the appearance of passive types of behavior that are considered contrary to the laws of the school environment on the other hand. It also showed that the student in this stage practices passive types of behavior that are considered contrary to the range of school or community laws. The most outstanding passive types of behavior are represented in backbiting, telling lies, cheating, using inappropriate phrases, encroaching upon teachers, abnormal usage of the Internet, making love relations with both sexes as well as smoking. As for factors responsible this type of types of behavior, this study made it clear they are represented in space channels, friends, lack of family control, leisure time and intense strictness from the family . It also showed that the social worker sometimes performed her entrusted roles. Concerning her remedial role, it is evident in presenting psychological and social guidance to the student after sitting with her, identifying the causes of the problem, offering her material help when necessary, sending a notice to her father showing her academic and behavioral position. As fro her role in communicating with the student's family, she organizes symposiums for students' mothers, contacting them to know their family positions. She also asks about the student in case of her absence from school
