to enrich decorative panal depend on Arabic calligraphy
The Research consists of seven chapters :
Chapter I : (Introduction to the Research) :
This chapter presents the research background, the research problem, as well
as the research hypotheses and objectives. In addition, it points out the research
importance and limits. This chapter also discusses the research methodology,
including the theoretical frame and the practical frame. Then, it exhibits the research
terminology and the related studies .
Chapter II : (Historical Aspects of Arabic Writing & its Development Stages):
This chapter gives an introduction about the Arabic writing and it discusses
its history. Besides, it shows the phases of its development. Then, it presents types of
the Arabic Calligraphy .
Chapter III : (Aesthetic & Plastic Values of Arabic Writings) :
This chapter consists of the introduction, the plastic fundamentals of the
Arabic writing and the artistic styles of the Arabic writings .
Chapter IV : (Arabic Writing & its Role in Designing Ornamental Drawing):
This chapter includes the introduction, then it approaches the Arabic writing
as an ornamental element. It, also, discusses the design concept, in general and the
ornamental design, in particular, indicating the phases through which the design
process undergoes. In this regard, it discusses the "Gestalt Theory" and
the "Optical Perception Theory". It ends with a presentation of some works of art
(objets d' art) made by Arab artists and how they handled the Arabic writing as
a plastic element |
