This study discusses specific subject which is The Requirements and Obstacles of Applying the Electronic Management in Education Colleges for Girls in Jeddah. The significance of this study comes from its effort to provide accurate results and recommendations that will be useful to the Education Colleges in Jeddah where it will be the beginning to apply this technique in our educational institutions through the acknowledgment of its properties, advantages, reasons behind applying it, its material and financial requirements, its obstacles and how to overcome them.
This study aims to acknowledge the main role of using the electronic management technique in enhancing the managerial performance, saving time and effort, decreasing paper work while replacing it with digital transactions using information technology, internet, and modern communication means.
Throughout the study, many inquiries have been raised by the researcher such as; what is the extent of awareness of the employees in the colleges of the properties of the electronic management? What is the extent of availability of the material capabilities to apply the electronic management in the education colleges in Jeddah? What is the extent of availability of the human capabilities to apply the electronic management in the education colleges in Jeddah? What are the most important obstacles that prevents from applying the electronic management in the education colleges in Jeddah? What are the most important expectations for joining Education Colleges to King Abdul-Aziz University?
The Descriptive approach has been utilized by the researcher in the study as it’s the most suitable approach for acknowledging the reality of the study. Moreover, the sample of the study was selected from the employees of the Education Colleges in Jeddah (Administrative Staff, Technical Staff, and Faculty Staff). The total number of the distributive questionnaires was 350 while the collected ones were 170 questionnaires. The statistical analysis software (SPPS) was utilized to calculate the arithmetic averages (Medium), standard deviation, and the percentages of the study results.
The most important results and recommendations that were reached by the researcher though this study was that 3\4 of the chosen sample have enough awareness of the importance of applying the electronic management and its different properties. It has also been clarified that the lack of applied electronic management at the moment in the education colleges in Jeddah is due to the shortage of material capabilities. Not to mention that there are many obstacles which prevent from applying the electronic management in the education colleges in Jeddah. As a result, the researcher has offered some recommendations such as the necessity to spread the awareness of the importance of shifting to electronic management technique through conducting seminars and lectures for the colleges’ employees as students, faculty, and administrative staff, the necessity to contract with specialized agencies for planning, executing, and issuing reports to proceed in the advancement of applying this technique, and The necessity to conduct more studies in the future on the education colleges in Jeddah to pursuit the application of this technique.
