Abstract : This study displays stimulus as a tool of formative method, and its impact on dream formation in Saudi female narrative for the period 1991-2003G. The study is an attempt to peruse the address of female dream in Saudi narrative through stimulus. The objective of the study is the treatment of the mechanism and dream formation in Saudi female narrative, as to structure, body, narration stimulus, structuring progression of female narrative as for formal method data which is concerned about the study of contemporary recitative text. The study consists of an introduction, six chapters and a conclusion. The first chapter depicts language stimulation, the second chapter natural stimulus , the third chapter narrative character stimulus , the fourth chapter the event stimulus, while the fifth and sixth chapters depict narrative nature stimulation and the indicative stimulation respectively. The study has extracted a number of conclusions and recommendations, most important are the continuous historical development of stimulation, the two forms of the dream: the direct form and the indirect form, the latter associated with consciousness. Characters are of four stimulating patterns: descriptive, formative, actual and reciprocal. Formative stimulation of characters is related to narration structure, which is either superficial or deep structure. Language of the narrative is rich in metaphors, textual interaction and language familiarity. Indicative stimulation in the narrative exhibits a number of patterns: social, cilizational, political, psychological, and symbolic. The study portrays a number of recommendations related to critical studies, as pertinent to Saudi female narratives, which should be followed up and traced in social ,psychological , and civilization studies, and care to be given to applied studies of narrative.
