Abstract : The study aimed to introduce the economic added value index (EVA) and its ability to explain the change in the market values of the shares of industrial companies listed in the Saudi stock market, and we will compare it with the traditional financial indicators (ROI and RI). The result of this study is to know which of these indicators, it could give better results in explaining the change in the market prices of the shares of industrial companies. The study included 38 industrial companies for the period (2015-2018). As a result of this study, the return on investment index (ROI) has a greater impact on the market prices of stocks (SP) than the economic added value index (EVA) and the residual income index (RI). The study recommends supporting academic and research studies specialized in evaluating the performance of companies. Keywords: Economic Value Added, traditional financial indicators, create value.
