Abstract : This research aims to analyse and discuss the legal articles governing alternative sanctions and their application to juvenile offenders within the areas defined by Article 15 of the new Juvenile Regulation sought by Royal Decree No. (M/112) of 8/11/1439H, and to demonstrate its compatibility with international standards for juveniles. The results of the research have found that alternative sanctions are proportional to the category of juveniles, the penal alternatives system is a new system, public opinion must be prepared through media campaigns, seminars and workshops, in order to accept these alternatives and make them compatible with the Saudi penal environment. A suitable alternative to juveniles, and appropriate alternative penalties that correspond to the pattern of the event's personality and the factors that led it to deviate
