Abstract : This study dealt with the subject of The Legal Protection of Children From Online Exploitation in the Saudi Legal System. The study started with an introduction that contained the problem of the study, which can be summarized in defining the concept of criminal protection of the child From Online Exploitation in the Saudi Legal System. And shedding the light on the legal procedures followed in the event that the child is exposed to any kind of exploitation, as well as clarifying the international efforts and those of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for confronting this problem.The study was divided into the introductory topic which title is the “Child and online exploitation ”. The first chapter has the title “Subjective criminal protection of children from online exploitation”. The second chapter has the title “Procedural criminal protection of children from online exploitation and the international and national efforts to fight online exploitation crimes. The study was then concluded with the presentation of the most important findings and recommendations. The results of the study showed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the leading countries in enacting regulations to keep pace with technological developments and new updates through the enactment along with fighting information crimes and flexibility of the Saudi`s system, by setting an upper and lower penalty of fighting information crimes in the whole system beside giving the judge the discretion in imposing an appropriate punishment for the crime. The study also recommended the necessiny of Arab cooperation by establishing an Arab organization that specialized in information crimes. Moreover, institute an unified system among Arab countries to reduce criems committed by electronic means. Also, it is necessary to publish judicial rulings which related to information criems by electronic means to spread awareness of their seriousness.
