Abstract : This research aims to create an electronic library to simulate some traditional stitches and decorations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia using the Wilcom computer program specialized in machine embroidery to produce traditional decorative units, to use them to enrich the small projects and to preserve heritage and legacy in a modern way in line with the vision of 2030. The research utilized the analytical descriptive methodology along with the applied study. The sample of the research consisted of (11 ones) represented in the specialists of the faculty members for surveying their opinions In the traditional clothes and machine embroidery courses , and (17 ones) represented in the specialists of the faculty members for the simulation with the machine embroidery stitches, and (14 ones) represented in the specialists of the faculty members for the simulation of the machine decorations and the proposed designs for the small projects at some of Universities in Saudi Arabia The research tools consisted of the following: a questionnaire to survey the faculty members who are assigned to teaching the course of embroidery and traditional clothes, a questionnaire for the assessment of the traditional stitches simulating the machine embroidery directed to the specialists, a questionnaire for the assessment of the traditional decorations simulating the machine decorations and the proposed small projects directed to the specialists. The results showed that the electronic library in this study was successful . Some of the traditional embroidery stitches have already been considered simulated by machine embroidery stitches in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have been utilized in an effective a manner in the implementation of the small projects.
