The study sought to monitor the credibility of news in the new media to the Saudi Arabian public, applying to a sample of 500 individual from the area of Makkah and some of its provinces the random multi-stage sample was selected, via the Electronic questionnaire tool where it features a quick way To view the information to the target audience and get answers in a short time and as soon as possible, this research belongs to the quality of descriptive research which designed to monitor and interpret what is an object, the survey method has been used to identify the credibility of the new media where THE study documents current trends of credibility News in the new media to the Saudi public.
The study has produced many results, the most important of which are: a concept of credibility has been developed which must be available in every word to be credible: Accuracy, honesty, clarity, responsibility, trust and seriousness, and the public is still not fully confident that news from the new media possesses credibility Complete, as they rely on the use of social networks as the most credible means of others, and the more reliable and credible means, the more reason because the public is following that way, the public that trusts in telling the means and the way they are transported and satisfying their desires and needs, makes him trust In the same way, and also the confidence of the Saudi public with the new media more than the old media, though the public is watching the old media; however, if it was dispensed with, it would not affect anything, and the public would automatically turn to the new media. |
