Abstract |

The aim of research is to identify the roots and characteristics of the mural Asir art, to study, analyze the elements this art, create decorative structure designs for women's clothing from the mural Asir art.
The research followed the analytical descriptive approach in addition to the applied study through analysis, study the mural Asir art and rephrasing its vocabulary and inspiration from it to enrich the aesthetics of women's clothing.
The research tools consisted of two questionnaires to identify the opinions of the sample group one from the specialists in the field of clothing and textiles, their questionnaire includes (10) sentences, and group two from women aged between 20-30 years old, their questionnaire includes (60) sentences, two questionnaires are about the proposals designs inspired by the mural Asir art in Asir area where the south of Saudi Arabia Kingdom.
Researcher presented (10) proposed designs inspired by the decoration of the mural Asir art, two designs from its were executed with the decoration of this art of and then adapting it while retaining its traditional character with using different fabrics materials , strips , automatic embroidery, the Abelic style and various other styles.
The results of research showed that there are statistically significant differences at the level of (0,05) among the ten designs implemented by researcher in accordance with the specialists opinions in the proposed designs in achieving the aesthetic side , these differences in favor of the sixth design.

There are also significant differences at the level of (0,05) among the ten designs implemented by researcher in accordance with the women opinions (20-30) in the suitability of designs in achieving aesthetic side, these differences in favor of the sixth design like the opinion of specialists who came to support the sixth design.
There are also significant differences at the level of (0,05) among the ten designs implemented by researcher in accordance with the women opinions(20-30) in the suitability of designs in achieving functional aspect, these differences in favor of the fourth design unlike the opinion of specialists who came to support the sixth design.
The researcher recommended studying the heritage and its different arts because of a great importance as it stimulates the taste, preservation of traditional art because it is a rich source that can be contribute to enrich the clothes design and fashion using modern technology means while preserving the spirit of mural art heritage of south area from Saudi Arabia kingdom. |
