Abstract : The research aims to hire aesthetic and plastic properties of the origami art in the work of the designs on the mannequin .The research follows descriptive analytical method to describe the origami art and analyzed it by studying, measures the acceptance of professionals and consumers for these designs, with application for making proposed designs on the mannequin. The research uses a questionnaire as tool to evaluate implemented designs that provided to specialists in the field of clothing and textiles from university members and other universities they are (21), in addition to another questionnaire for consumers in Jeddah area they are (147), to find their views about the designs by origami style of weals and organza. The study results showed: it is a statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of implemented designs from weals from the viewpoint of specialists in favor of the first design. In addition to a statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of implemented designs from organza from the viewpoint of specialists in favor of the fifth design. It also found statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of implemented designs from weals from the viewpoint of consumers in favor of the second design. In addition to a statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of implemented designs from organza from the viewpoint of consumers in favor of the fifth design. In addition to a statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the six implemented designs according to the opinions of specialists in favour of the first design by weals and the second design by weals for consumers.
